South Thames Tooting college, is a circa 2,300m2 college based in Tooting High Street. 

​

We were appointed as the M&E consultant to assist in creating a 5 year net zero plan for South Thames. 

​

After visiting the site and assessing the main equipment in comparison to the asset register provided and also reviewing the colleges bills and consumption, mstep delivered a site based report proposing an upgrade of the current systems to new and updated solutions. The interventions suggested were LED lighting, BMS and lighting control, installation of an ASHP and PV panels, while also upgrading the fans and pumps, to enable South Thames to achieve substantial reductions towards their goal of net zero operational carbon.

  

By replacing existing systems with new more efficient equivalents and all new systems a carbon reduction of up to 62% can be achieved.
