Kew Studios is the victorian headquarters of one of the uk’s top retailers Jigsaw housing its administrative centre and its fashion sample- making atelier. 

​

Jigsaw is redeveloping the site to create a very low carbon retrofitted building for its own use, and transforming the adjacent victorian warehouse into sustainable, energy efficient rental workspaces.

mstep worked with an architect to provide sustainability, energy strategy and design for the development. 

​

the design will include substantial and considerable fabric improvements, low energy heating and cooling systems and a site wide renewable energy strategy with a proposed ground source heat pumps and photovoltaics and battery storage.
