the clients were keen to reduce their carbon emissions and future proof their home. with an existing large PV array, they were interested in introducing more low carbon technologies to replace the existing systems serving their home.
a ground-source heat pump will be installed to replace their existing oil-fired boilers to provide heating and hot water to their grade II listed victorian home. With their existing photo voltaic installation, they will almost be living off grid. the low running and low maintenance costs of the system will pay off in these times of increased energy costs.
thinking ahead of the times our clients wanted to upgrade the performance of this historic building so that it retains its features as well as its value in years to come.
